Intro to Natural Plant Dying
Together we will dye cotton and wool fiber and threads with locally foraged and grown materials such as Goldenrod, Madder, and Black Walnut for Yellow, Red, and Brown. Come to the next morning's weaving class to weave with your newly dyed fiber.

Intro to Weaving
Weave your own beautiful bookmark or pendant with the plant dyed fibers from the day before. In this workshop, you will learn to warp a loom, do basic weaving stitches and knots, and how to create textural elements to set your piece apart. Participants can choose to come to this event even if they didn't attend the dyeing workshop the day before.
