Circle Presents... Listening and Playing With the Trees
A Super Fun One Day Nature/Creative Arts Workshop for 5-9 year olds!
Enjoy Nature Inspired Storytelling, Drumming, Crafts, Art,
Movement (including Yoga), Theater Games, Music and more!
Hudson Valley 5-9 year olds! Come join us at Circle Studio with the nurturing, inspiring...Joy and Wonders team Jill Olesker and Sue Siverstream for an end-of-summer workshop where playful curiosity rules!
We will meet at Circle's sun flooded New Paltz studio, create there and under a gentle grove of trees, as well as explore on the nearby Rail Trail.
An immersive experience where we will have time to enjoy Nature exploration and discovery- listening to the trees, inviting them to inspire us to create art of many kinds, and gathering in a Story Circle where you will hear stories, and create stories inspired by our time together outdoors. With nature as our canvas and playground, we will also build a Fairy Village and create Nature Crowns to celebrate our place in the natural world.
At the end of the day, wearing our crowns, we will have a procession- a joyous parade back to the grove, give thanks and honor our connection to the land, each other, and to all life.
