In this dynamic, hands-on workshop, you will learn all you need to plant your own dye garden AS WELL AS learn the basics of natural plant dyeing— in one class! Meet Indigo, Madder, and Marigold, three generous beauties that will offer up lush and bold primary colors. Overcome any intimidation you may have about starting a dye garden, learn to love the simple and sacred act of planting, and enjoy the magic and discovery of making exquisite colors from our natural world…and even from our kitchen scraps! Together we will plant seeds in our garden beds at Circle Studios as well as render gorgeous, non-toxic, earth friendly colors, and learn to transform and up-cycle old clothing and textile items, from drab to fab! And…you will head home with 6 uniquely beautiful dyed napkins, as well as your own seeds to care for at your home.

In Circle, we only plant, utilize, and harvest items from our Earth Mama that are easily replenished, leave as little trace as possible, and are healthy for humans and planet from harvest to end result. Please also consider Mama Earth in all you do…
