Weaving is fun, calming and makes a great portable creative project!
Together we will be working on a simple loom designed by our Circle team that will be yours to keep. Your weaving can be made into a bracelet, bookmark or necklace.
In this course, you will learn to warp a loom, do basic weaving stitches and knots, and how to create textural elements to set your piece apart. This will be an inspiring way to get a clear understanding of the ancient craft of weaving while connecting with others in a friendly and welcoming circle.
This class will be IN PERSON at Circle Studios: 62 Plains Road, New Paltz, NY. Masks must be worn and the space will be set up for you so that each person has plenty of room for social distancing. The class is limited to 7 participants.
$65 ticket price includes instruction + loom kit (with threads and clasp) - yours to keep. Kits alone are usually priced at $43 without class registration!
Our custom made laser cut Loom Weaving Kit is just perfect to make a bracelet, pendant, choker or small tapestry anytime, anywhere. Made from sturdy wood, each set ships complete with 3 varied size looms, a needle, 4 threads in varied compatible colors, and one set of metal end clasps.
